We realize that working as a Corrections Officer is not for everyone. The Metropolitan Detention Center offers a number of non-security career opportunities where you can make a difference in your community without working as an officer. We need social service workers, technicians, facility maintenance personnel, classification specialists and many more employees to work in critical support roles. Many of our positions are entry level with competitive pay and benefits packages.
